The tower package on its own, for an existing BASI reformer. It adds the push-through bar and the roll down bar, which between them cover the two exercises that define tower work: loaded upper body movement and spinal articulation from a supported position.
Installation uses the mounting points already built into the frame, so this is a fitting job rather than a rebuild. The result is functionally a Reformer with Tower, reached in two purchases instead of one.
Spring holders run on aircraft-grade aluminium track, which is what allows spring angle and height to be set continuously rather than chosen from a few fixed holes.
What's Included:
- Tower frame with mounting hardware
- Push-through bar
- Roll down bar
- Tower spring set
- Installation documentation
Features
The two exercises a plain reformer cannot do
Push-through bar work and roll down bar work. Adding them to a frame you own is usually cheaper than buying the tower version outright was.

Continuous spring placement
Holders travel on aluminium track, so spring angle and height are dialled in rather than approximated from the nearest fixed position.
Uses the frame's existing ports
No drilling and no modification to the reformer. The fittings go where BASI already prepared them.
No extra floor space
The tower rises from the reformer's own footprint, which is the whole point of this upgrade against a standalone wall tower.

Installation
Part-built in the crate
The frame arrives as one assembly and the loose components go on afterwards: footbar, ropes, pulleys, spring holders and the tower or trapeze structure if your configuration includes one. Ordinary hand tools, and the fixings are packed with it.
Allow the time and the second person
Two to four hours on the larger frames, one to three on a plain reformer, two people throughout. These frames weigh between roughly 150 lb and 330 lb, which is the reason rather than the difficulty of the job.
The route matters more than the room
Delivery is kerbside. Check door widths, the turn at the head of any staircase and your ceiling against the tower or trapeze height in the specification table, before the truck arrives rather than after.
Commission it before you load it
Run the carriage from end to end a few times so the wheels seat, measure both ropes against each other, and confirm the footbar and spring holders lock in every position before you work at full spring load.

Warranty, Shipping and Returns
BASI grades its limited warranty by what the part is made of. Structural wood and the main frame: ten years. Steel and aluminium profiles and components, F2 systems, springs, plastic components and fasteners: two years. Elastomer-coated parts, which covers the footbar, hand bar, pedals, stoppers, handles and wheels: one year. The Pilates mat, upholstery and fabric accessories: ninety days. Cover begins at the invoice date and belongs to the original retail purchaser.
Springs come with an obligation attached. BASI requires replacement every two years or every 3,000 hours of use, whichever is reached sooner, on any spring-loaded apparatus.
There is no shipping charge within the United States. Crated goods move by freight with a phone call ahead to agree the slot. The driver unloads kerbside, so plan two people and check the doorways and any staircase turn beforehand. Smaller items go parcel, usually landing within 7 to 10 business days of dispatch.
Inspect before signing. Damage, or a box that has not arrived, must be written on the Proof of Delivery on the day and claimed within five business days.
Returns run for 30 days from delivery on unused equipment in its original packaging. No restocking fee, refunds within 7 business days of the return arriving and free cancellation while the order is still at the factory.
About BASI Systems
BASI Systems is the equipment line built around BASI Pilates, the teacher training body founded by Rael Isacowitz. The apparatus is designed alongside the curriculum rather than sold to fit it, which shows in details such as the four prepared F2 ports that appear across the range and let one spring system move between reformer, chair, barrel and Cadillac.
Frames are solid beech. Tracks and moving hardware are aircraft-grade aluminium. Contact surfaces use orthopaedic padding under anti-slip, antibacterial vinyl. The Wunda Chair has taken an A Design Award, and the spring positioning system is covered by US patent 10,393,163 B2.
