This is the middle of the BASI range and, for most studios, the sensible place to stop. It is the studio Reformer with a full tower, a push-through bar and the twin mat conversion added, which covers reformer, tower and mat programming from a single station.
The tower brings the push-through and roll down bar repertoire, eight tower springs in four weights and the Enhanced Pulley System that positions pulleys anywhere across the height and width of the frame. On the reformer side, five springs each work through three gear steps of roughly 3 to 4 percent, so resistance changes in useful increments.
It converts later to the Reformer Combo if you decide you want the trapeze. A short-frame version is also made, 87.4 in instead of 95.3 in, for rooms that will not take the full length.

Features
Three stations, one frame
Reformer, tower and raised mat, with the twin mat conversion included rather than sold as an extra. For a studio teaching mixed sessions that is one machine instead of two.

Push-through and roll down bar
The two exercises that define tower work: spinal articulation from supported standing, and loaded upper body work through the push-through bar, both running on aircraft-grade aluminium track.

EPS pulley positioning
Pulleys move along the height and the width of the tower frame, which matters most when you teach back-to-back clients of different heights and do not want to compromise rope angle.

Gear-staged resistance
Three gear positions for each of the five reformer springs, each step worth about 3 to 4 percent. Progressions get finer than a spring swap allows.

Converts to the Combo later
The frame accepts the trapeze upgrade, so full Cadillac work is a future purchase rather than a replacement machine.

Short frame option
BASI builds this model at 87.4 in as well as 95.3 in. The short version weighs 216 lb against 224.8 lb and measures 99.4 in with the tower fitted.

Installation
It arrives part-built
BASI crates its apparatus partly assembled. The frame comes as a unit and you fit the components that ship loose, typically the footbar, ropes, pulleys, spring holders and any tower or trapeze structure supplied with your configuration. Standard hand tools cover it and the fixings are in the box.
Two people, and time
Budget two to four hours for the larger frames and one to three for a plain reformer, with two people throughout. Weight rather than complexity is the reason. These frames run from roughly 150 lb to 330 lb and none of them should be carried alone.
Measure the route, not just the room
Freight arrives kerbside. Before delivery day, check the doorway widths, any turn at the top of a stairwell, and the ceiling height against the tower or trapeze figure in the specification table. Reversing a delivery costs far more than a tape measure.
Bed the machine in before you load it
Once assembled, run the carriage end to end several times to seat the wheels, confirm both ropes are the same length, and check that the footbar and spring holders lock positively in every position before working at full spring load.
Resources
Warranty, Shipping and Returns
The manufacturer's cover is split by material rather than sold as one headline number. Ten years applies to the main wooden frame and structural woodwork. Two years applies to steel and aluminium profiles and components, to F2 hardware, to springs and to plastic parts and fasteners. One year applies to elastomer-coated contact parts, a group that includes the footbar, hand bar, pedals, stoppers, handles and wheels. Ninety days applies to the mat, the upholstery and every fabric accessory. Cover starts on the invoice date, stays with the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Note the maintenance clause attached to it. Springs on spring-loaded apparatus are wear parts, and BASI expects them replaced every two years, or after 3,000 hours of use if that comes sooner.
We ship free anywhere in the United States. Anything crated moves by freight and the carrier will call to book a window with you. Expect a kerbside handover rather than an in-room placement, so line up a second pair of hands and measure the doorways first. Accessories and spare parts go parcel and usually land inside 7 to 10 business days after dispatch.
Check every carton against the paperwork before signing for it. Damage or a missing box must be recorded on the Proof of Delivery there and then, and claimed inside five business days.
Unused equipment can come back within 30 days of delivery in its original packaging. There is no restocking fee, refunds clear within 7 business days of arrival and a cancellation costs nothing while the order is still at the factory.
About BASI Systems
BASI Systems is the manufacturing arm behind BASI Pilates, the teacher training organisation Rael Isacowitz started. Equipment and curriculum are developed together, which is why the catalogue reads as one system rather than a set of separate products. Prepared F2 ports on nearly every apparatus are the clearest sign of it.
The material specification is the same at every price point: beech hardwood frames, aircraft-grade aluminium anywhere something slides or takes load, orthopaedic padding beneath anti-slip antibacterial vinyl. Patent US 10,393,163 B2 protects the spring positioning system.
