Questions and Answers

The things buyers ask us most before they order

How is the FWS different from the TWS?

The tower. The TWS runs a half-Cadillac setup on a wood tower; the FWS tower is a proprietary aluminum extrusion with a soft contour frame that can be used from both the front and the back at the same time, covering much of the traditional full Cadillac repertoire plus functional training work.

What are the dimensions of the FWS?

Peak does not publish dimensions for the Artistry FWS. Please contact us before ordering and we will obtain the current figures from the manufacturer so you can plan your floor space and wall clearance properly.

Does it need wall clearance?

Yes. Because the FWS tower is designed to be used from both sides, it needs to be positioned away from a wall - Peak notes it is not the right choice for buyers without adequate wall clearance, or where units need to stack.

How many springs are there in total?

Eleven: a five-spring reformer kit (1 heavy, 2 standard, 2 light) and a six-spring tower system (2 push-through, 2 leg, 2 arm).

Is it suitable for clinical or rehabilitation use?

Peak positions the FWS as ideal for the rehabilitation market, because the expanded exercise options and both-sides access support a wider range of functional and therapeutic programming than a half-Cadillac tower.

Which wood finishes are available?

Solid beechwood or American walnut, both with black upholstery.
