Solid Natural Maple Classic Reformer
The 86" Classic Natural Maple Wood Reformer is Elina Pilates' interpretation of the original method: inspired by the legacy of Joseph Pilates and built to the classical proportions, with contemporary manufacturing behind the traditional detailing.
Crafted from solid natural maple, it is chosen for elegance, stability and durability in equal measure. Natural leather straps, a traditional metal pole and wooden handles evoke the craftsmanship of original classical Pilates while delivering the reliability today's training demands.

Features
Solid Natural Maple Frame
The 86" structure is solid natural maple, chosen for the elegance, stability and durability the classical method asks of a reformer.
Natural Leather Straps and Wooden Handles
Leather straps, a traditional metal pole and classic wooden handles replace the ropes and plastic of a modern machine, exactly as the classical repertoire expects.
Four Classic Springs on a 3-Position Bar
A complete set of four classic springs mounts on a spring bar adjustable across 3 positions, so resistances combine to the intensity you want.
Adjustable Stoppers at Both Ends
The carriage stopper mechanism adjusts at the head end across 2 positions and at the foot end across 3, letting the carriage travel be limited for a specific client or exercise.
Classic Footbar and Padded Footboard
The classic footbar is paired with a padded, non-slip classic footboard, and the upholstery is a high-quality grade built for intense and continuous use.
Classic Box and Jump Board Included
A stable padded classic box and a removable padded classic jump board come with the machine, along with foot straps for the front of the frame and the inner side under the footbar.

Installation
It arrives semi-assembled
Elina ships its apparatus part-built and states that assembly is designed to be done without professional assistance: the frame comes as one piece and you add the accompanying parts. Expect to fit the footbar, ropes and any tower or box components supplied with your configuration.
Plan for two people
Delivery is to street level, and at 110 lb this is not a machine to move alone. Two people, a clear path from the curb to the room, and about an hour is the realistic picture. Measure the doorway and any turn at the top of a staircase before delivery day rather than after.
Tools
The fixings and keys needed are supplied in the packaging. No drilling and no wall fixing for a free-standing reformer; wall units and boards are the exception and do need fixing into structure.
First session setup
Once it is together, run the carriage end to end a few times to seat the wheels, check the rope lengths match on both sides, and confirm the footbar locks positively into every position before loading the springs to full.
Resources
Warranty, Shipping and Returns
This apparatus is covered by the manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase: a 10-year structural warranty on the frame and welds and a 2-year warranty on all other components. Upholstery and fabric are covered for 90 days against defects in normal use.
To keep the warranty valid: use the equipment indoors in a climate-controlled space, follow the maintenance guidelines in the manual, and replace springs every two years on spring-loaded equipment. The warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and covers repair or replacement of defective parts at the manufacturer's option. Warranty claims are handled through us with Elina Pilates' technical service.
Free curbside freight delivery
in the contiguous United States (we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico). Your equipment ships via LTL freight carrier, carefully packed and secured to a wooden skid. Curbside delivery includes liftgate service, where the driver unloads to the curb as close to your building as possible. We recommend having two people available to carry the equipment inside; equipment arrives semi-assembled and is designed to be set up without professional help.
Lead times
Elina Pilates equipment is built at the factory in Spain. In-stock items in standard Black or Grey upholstery typically deliver in 2 to 4 weeks. Special upholstery colors are made to order and take approximately 10 weeks. We confirm your delivery estimate when your order is processed, and the carrier will call to schedule delivery.
Inspect on delivery
please note any damage on the carrier's waybill before signing, and report damaged, missing or incorrect items within 48 hours of receipt. Do not open boxes with box cutters, because blades can damage upholstered parts.
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on eligible items. Equipment must be unused, in its original packaging with all instructions, accessories and documentation. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued before shipping the item back; the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Non-returnable
made-to-order items (including special upholstery colors), large equipment (reformers, cadillacs, towers, ladder barrels, chairs, wall units and boards, barrels and arcs), accessories and spare parts, except where covered by warranty. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours and we will make it right.
About Elina Pilates

Elina Pilates has designed and built Pilates apparatus in Navarra, northern Spain since 2007, from its own plant in the NoaΓn-EsquΓroz industrial park outside Pamplona. Close to two decades in, its machines are in studios across five continents.
Rock maple is the house timber, chosen for strength and dimensional stability across the professional wood range; the aluminium machines use anodised high-strength extrusion. One detail runs through nearly the whole catalogue, a near-silent carriage on eight polyurethane wheels with high-precision bearings. Machines are developed with working Pilates teachers, and Elina holds multiple patents and registered designs.
The Classic Line
reproduces the apparatus as Joseph Pilates left it, built to the original measurements rather than modernised. The reformers run natural leather straps, wooden handles and four classic springs in place of color-coded sets and quick-release hardware, in anodised aluminium 86", solid natural maple or walnut. The line also carries the classical Cadillacs, the Wunda and Baby chairs, and the small hand apparatus Pilates designed alongside the machines, the Foot Corrector, Toe Exerciser, Breath-A-Cizer, Neck Stretcher, Push-Up Device and Airplane Board.
The Pilates Works is an approved Elina Pilates retailer. Equipment is supplied new with the full manufacturer's warranty, and we handle any claim directly with Elina.
