The Ped A Pull without the seat, for studios and clinics whose programming is standing and kneeling work only. Everything else is the same apparatus: the freestanding shaped base, the spring settings that adjust in height and width and the two yellow springs and neoprene handles.
It is the cheaper of the two listings by a meaningful margin, and if the stool would sit unused it is the right purchase. The seat can also be added later, so this is not a closed door.
At 25.6 in by 24 in of floor and 37 lb shipped, it is the lightest freestanding spring apparatus BASI builds and one person can reposition it.
What's Included:
- Ped A Pull frame, freestanding
- 2 yellow springs
- 2 neoprene handles
- Manufacturer documentation
Features
Standing work, without the seat you would not use
If the programming is balance, spinal stability and functional strength from standing, the stool is a cost rather than a feature. This listing removes it.

Two-axis spring adjustment
Height and width both adjust, so the line of pull matches the exercise and the client instead of being fixed by the frame.
No wall fixing
Freestanding, which is why it can be used for exercises that move around the apparatus rather than pulling toward a single wall anchor.
Seat can be added later
The stool is available as a separate part, so choosing this version now does not rule out seated work in future.

Installation
Minor assembly out of the box
Most of the apparatus is built. Depending on the model you will fit handles, spring holders or a standing platform with the hardware supplied and ordinary hand tools.
Two people to place it
The assembly is simple, the weight is not. Unpack where the apparatus will live and have someone with you for the lift.
Work every adjustment first
Move each adjustment through its full range and check that it locks before hanging springs. A fixing that was not fully tightened shows up here rather than mid-exercise.
Resources
Warranty, Shipping and Returns
The manufacturer's cover is split by material rather than sold as one headline number. Ten years applies to the main wooden frame and structural woodwork. Two years applies to steel and aluminium profiles and components, to F2 hardware, to springs and to plastic parts and fasteners. One year applies to elastomer-coated contact parts, a group that includes the footbar, hand bar, pedals, stoppers, handles and wheels. Ninety days applies to the mat, the upholstery and every fabric accessory. Cover starts on the invoice date, stays with the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Note the maintenance clause attached to it. Springs on spring-loaded apparatus are wear parts, and BASI expects them replaced every two years, or after 3,000 hours of use if that comes sooner.
We ship free anywhere in the United States. Anything crated moves by freight and the carrier will call to book a window with you. Expect a kerbside handover rather than an in-room placement, so line up a second pair of hands and measure the doorways first. Accessories and spare parts go parcel and usually land inside 7 to 10 business days after dispatch.
Check every carton against the paperwork before signing for it. Damage or a missing box must be recorded on the Proof of Delivery there and then, and claimed inside five business days.
Unused equipment can come back within 30 days of delivery in its original packaging. There is no restocking fee, refunds clear within 7 business days of arrival and a cancellation costs nothing while the order is still at the factory.
About BASI Systems
BASI Systems is the manufacturing arm behind BASI Pilates, the teacher training organisation Rael Isacowitz started. Equipment and curriculum are developed together, which is why the catalogue reads as one system rather than a set of separate products. Prepared F2 ports on nearly every apparatus are the clearest sign of it.
The material specification is the same at every price point: beech hardwood frames, aircraft-grade aluminium anywhere something slides or takes load, orthopaedic padding beneath anti-slip antibacterial vinyl. Patent US 10,393,163 B2 protects the spring positioning system.
