Stackable Aluminium Reformer, 8.66" Bed
The HL line is Elina Pilates' most versatile aluminium reformer: a reinforced anodised aluminium structure that allows an enormous range of exercises to be performed with precision and safety, and that can be stacked horizontally or stood in a vertical position when the floor is needed.
The four HL models are the same machine at four different bed heights. This one, the HL 1, sits at 8.66" | 22 cm from the floor - the lowest bed in the line, closest to a classical floor-level working height.

The four HL models differ only in bed height. The HL1 sits at 8.66" | 22 cm from the floor - the lowest bed in the line, closest to a classical floor-level working height.
Stacks Horizontally and Stands Vertically
The reinforced aluminium frame can be stacked horizontally with other HL units or stood in a vertical position, so a studio can store several machines in the floor area of one.
Silent, Smooth Slide System
The carriage runs on a silent, smooth slide system, with a bed brake mechanism offering 3 stopper positions.
Six-Position Quick-Change Footbar
The footbar changes across six positions with a "Quick release" mechanism, and the spring bar adjusts across 3 positions.
Detachable Pulleys with Cleat Adjustment
The pulley set detaches from the frame and rope length is set with a cleat anchoring system; a pulley rope set is included.
Complete Studio Bundle
The jump board, padded box, anti-slip foot platform, a set of cotton handles for hands and feet and a set of padded handles all come with the machine.

Installation
It arrives semi-assembled
Elina ships its apparatus part-built and states that assembly is designed to be done without professional assistance: the frame comes as one piece and you add the accompanying parts. Expect to fit the footbar, ropes and any tower or box components supplied with your configuration.
Plan for two people
Delivery is to street level, and at 137 lb this is not a machine to move alone. Two people, a clear path from the curb to the room, and about an hour is the realistic picture. Measure the doorway and any turn at the top of a staircase before delivery day rather than after.
Tools
The fixings and keys needed are supplied in the packaging. No drilling and no wall fixing for a free-standing reformer; wall units and boards are the exception and do need fixing into structure.
First session setup
Once it is together, run the carriage end to end a few times to seat the wheels, check the rope lengths match on both sides, and confirm the footbar locks positively into every position before loading the springs to full.
Resources
Warranty, Shipping and Returns
This apparatus is covered by the manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase: a 10-year structural warranty on the frame and welds and a 2-year warranty on all other components. Upholstery and fabric are covered for 90 days against defects in normal use.
To keep the warranty valid: use the equipment indoors in a climate-controlled space, follow the maintenance guidelines in the manual, and replace springs every two years on spring-loaded equipment. The warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and covers repair or replacement of defective parts at the manufacturer's option. Warranty claims are handled through us with Elina Pilates' technical service.
Free curbside freight delivery
in the contiguous United States (we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico). Your equipment ships via LTL freight carrier, carefully packed and secured to a wooden skid. Curbside delivery includes liftgate service, where the driver unloads to the curb as close to your building as possible. We recommend having two people available to carry the equipment inside; equipment arrives semi-assembled and is designed to be set up without professional help.
Lead times
Elina Pilates equipment is built at the factory in Spain. In-stock items in standard Black or Grey upholstery typically deliver in 2 to 4 weeks. Special upholstery colors are made to order and take approximately 10 weeks. We confirm your delivery estimate when your order is processed, and the carrier will call to schedule delivery.
Inspect on delivery
please note any damage on the carrier's waybill before signing, and report damaged, missing or incorrect items within 48 hours of receipt. Do not open boxes with box cutters, because blades can damage upholstered parts.
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on eligible items. Equipment must be unused, in its original packaging with all instructions, accessories and documentation. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued before shipping the item back; the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Non-returnable
made-to-order items (including special upholstery colors), large equipment (reformers, cadillacs, towers, ladder barrels, chairs, wall units and boards, barrels and arcs), accessories and spare parts, except where covered by warranty. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours and we will make it right.
About Elina Pilates
Elina Pilates has designed and built Pilates apparatus in Navarra, northern Spain since 2007, from its own plant in the Noaín-Esquíroz industrial park outside Pamplona. Close to two decades in, its machines are in studios across five continents.
Rock maple is the house timber, chosen for strength and dimensional stability across the professional wood range; the aluminium machines use anodised high-strength extrusion. One detail runs through nearly the whole catalogue, a near-silent carriage on eight polyurethane wheels with high-precision bearings. Machines are developed with working Pilates teachers, and Elina holds multiple patents and registered designs.
The HL Aluminium range
is one machine offered at four leg heights, and the number in the name is the height. HL 1 sits closest to the floor at roughly 6.3" of frame height; HL 4 stands at about 21", a working height for a therapist treating from standing. All four share a reinforced anodised aluminium frame, a six-position quick-release footbar, five springs on a four-position bar, and the ability to stack horizontally or stand against a wall, which is why the range turns up in group studios. All carry the 10-year structural warranty.
