The Align Pilates A8-Pro is the largest reformer in the Align studio range. Its carriage is 67 cm wide and 91 cm long, and it gives 113 cm of travel on 8 PU wheels over anodised aluminium runners.
Now in its fourth generation, the A8-Pro uses the Rapid Change spring bar, a Pro Rope adjustment system beside the head rest and an oversize lockable foot bar with 6 positions.
Choose short 28 cm, standard 42 cm or rehab 64 cm legs. The A8-Pro shares its Jump Board, Mattress Converter and Platform Extender with the earlier A2 models.

Oversize carriage, long travel A 67 x 91 cm carriage and 113 cm of travel give taller and larger clients more room, with fewer setup changes between people.
Rapid Change spring bar Lift the spring bar into any of its 4 positions with the springs attached. There is no separate carriage stopper to move.
Three leg heights Short 28 cm legs keep the bed low, standard 42 cm legs suit most studios and 64 cm rehab legs raise the bed for rehab work. Adjustable feet level the frame on uneven floors.
Six position foot bar The oversize foot bar locks in 5 raised positions and also folds flat, and the locking pin stores beside it when not in use.
Pro Rope adjustment Lift both rope locker levers and pull to set the two ropes to the same length, or lift one lever to fine tune a single rope. Rope risers adjust to 5 heights and fold down.
Sitting box and pole work Hooks under the runner hold a Gondola Pole or roll up pole, and the carriage takes a sitting box for seated and prone exercises. Both are sold separately.

Installation
Plan for two people The reformer weighs over 70 kg, so two people are needed. All tools are supplied, and Align suggests two padded trestles set 180 cm apart to support the frame.
Fit the legs and foot bar Bolt on the wheeled legs at the standing platform end first, then the other pair, and fit the foot bar selector rod and arms.
Platform, risers and carriage Bolt on the maple standing platform and rope risers, slide the carriage in with the springs toward the platform and adjust the side wheels until it runs freely.
Ropes and straps Fit the shoulder rests, attach the silent handles and foot strap, then thread the ropes through the pulleys and rope controller. Align allows 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Align-Pilates covers this reformer with its limited commercial warranty, which runs from the date of purchase for the original owner and allows studio use of up to 37.5 hours a week with a user weight limit of 330 lb (150 kg). Metal and aluminium frames and welded components carry ten years. Wooden frames and the spring bar mechanism carry five years. Footbar mechanisms carry three years and other non-wear components two years. Ropes, straps, clips, handles and wheels carry one year.
Springs are covered for two years or 3,000 hours, whichever comes first, in studios running up to five reformers, and for one year or 3,000 hours in studios running six or more. Upholstery is covered for 90 days from delivery. Wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised modification, finish scratches and rust are excluded, and the cover depends on following the maintenance instructions in the manual.
Shipping Delivery is free anywhere in the United States. When the item is in stock, Align-Pilates ships it within two business days of confirmation. Large equipment is strapped to a pallet and moved by freight carrier, who will call ahead to book a delivery window; the handover is curbside, so line up a second person to help carry it in. Allow 1 to 3 weeks from order to delivery, and we forward tracking once the shipment is collected.
Check before you sign Look over each carton when it arrives. Record any damage on the delivery paperwork, take photos and let us know within 48 hours.
Returns Align-Pilates does not accept returns on reformers, cadillacs, chairs or ladder barrels, so this is a final sale once dispatched. We recommend confirming dimensions, ceiling height and access before ordering. Damaged, defective or incorrect deliveries reported within 48 hours are put right with the manufacturer, and orders can be cancelled without charge until they leave the warehouse.
