The Align Pilates Combo Chair III is the third generation of Align's Wunda style chair, the compact apparatus Joseph Pilates designed around a padded seat, springs and a foot pedal.
Its pedal splits in two, so clients can press with both feet together or work one side at a time. Four springs hook onto a chromed spring tree with four positions, and two removable handles adjust through nine heights for standing and pressing work.
Compared with the earlier chair, version III adds a pedal locking mechanism, a pedal axle running on roller bearings, rubber coated silent spring hooks and a chromed spring tree for smoother, quieter operation.

Features
Split pedals Undo the connecting bar under the pedals and slide it back to let each pedal move on its own. Refasten it to work both pedals as one.
Four spring positions Two strong and two extra strong springs hook onto a chromed tree. A higher peg adds resistance, a lower peg lightens it and brings the pedals closer to the floor.
Height adjustable handles Pull out the knob, slide the handle to one of nine holes and tighten it. The handles have anti slip grips and lift out completely when not needed.
Quieter pedal action Roller bearings on the pedal axle and rubber coated spring hooks cut noise, and a locking mechanism holds the pedals in place.
Wall friendly frame A cut away frame lets you reach the springs with the chair against a wall, and eyelets accept resistance bands or springs.
Jump board ready Fasteners on the seat back accept the A Series reformer jump board, an optional add on you can buy later.

Installation
Lay out the parts Unpack onto a clean floor with something soft under the maple panels. The multitool and 5 mm and 6 mm Allen keys are supplied.
Build the frame Bolt the spring trees to the base frame, then add the seat support frame, side panels and handle holders, leaving bolts loose for now.
Fit pedals and seat Thread the pivot pole through both pedals, set it in the bearing housings, add the front plate and seat pad, then tighten every bolt.
Springs and handles Hook one spring of each strength to each pedal, attach them to the trees at matching heights, then fit and set the handles.
This item is covered by Align-Pilates' limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, for the first owner. Because the term depends on the product and on home or studio use, we confirm the exact cover for your order on request before you buy. Wear and tear, misuse, modification and surface damage are excluded.
Shipping We ship free to every US address. Stocked Align-Pilates equipment leaves the warehouse within two business days of order confirmation, with larger apparatus palletised for freight so it arrives undamaged. Expect a call from the carrier to schedule delivery to your curb, and have a helper ready to move the boxes indoors. Typical delivery is 1 to 3 weeks, and tracking follows by email.
Damage in transit Inspect the shipment before signing for it. Write any damage on the receipt, photograph it and contact us within 48 hours.
Returns Under Align-Pilates' policy, reformers, cadillacs, chairs and ladder barrels cannot be returned once shipped, so please check your space and the specifications before ordering; we are glad to help you choose. If equipment arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange the replacement with the manufacturer. Orders can be cancelled free of charge until they are dispatched.

Can the pedals work independently?
Yes. Unscrew the connecting bar fastener under the pedals, slide the bar back and refasten it. Reverse the steps to join the pedals again.

Yes. Both handles lift out of their holders, and when fitted they adjust through nine height positions.
Can I use it against a wall?
Yes. The frame is cut away at the back so you can still change springs with the chair close to a wall.
Does it take a jump board?
The jump board from the Align A Series reformer fits the back of the chair. It is an optional extra sold separately.
