Reformer lengths in our range span more than 21 inches from shortest to longest. That gap decides which rooms a machine fits, which users it suits and how much carriage travel is available. Here are the published numbers, lined up so they can be compared directly.
Most reformers we offer measure between about 81 and 103 inches long. The shortest is the BASI Compact Reformer at 81.5 in and the longest is the Peak Pilates MVe at 103 in. Studio machines cluster in the middle, from roughly 90 to 98 inches, with a few Elina models running longer.
Widths run from 23.6 in on the BASI Compact to 32.68 in on the Elina Master Instructor, which is 95.28 in long. Width matters most in narrow rooms and wherever machines sit side by side.
The frame is longer than the carriage travel because much of its length is taken up by hardware that does not move with you. The footbar, spring bar, carriage and pulley risers or towers all occupy rail space. Only what remains between the carriage at rest and the far stop is usable travel.
Carriage size varies as well. The BASI Reformer carriage is 31.2 in by 27.5 in, which BASI rates as the longest and widest it makes, while the Compact carriage is 25.6 in by 23.6 in. The Peak Artistry carriage measures 35 in by 23.5 in. Elina lists the Domo bed at 40.15 in on a 99.02 in frame.
Also check whether a figure describes the bare frame or the overall size. The BASI Reformer frame is 95.3 in, yet with its half tower and footbar the overall length reaches 107.3 in. BASI also builds a short frame version of that reformer at 87.4 in.
A longer frame often helps taller users, but length alone does not settle it. Carriage length, shoulder rest positions, footbar range and rope length all affect fit. The Elina Mentor pairs its 101.97 in frame with a footbar offering 22 horizontal positions, which extends how far the starting position can move.
Use published dimensions as the starting point for planning rather than the finish. Compare the overall length with the wall you have in mind, then confirm the bed height suits whoever will get on and off. Clearance around the machine is a separate calculation with its own guide, because straps and arm work reach well beyond the frame.
Every model above lists its full measurements in our Pilates reformer collection. If you do not need tower work, reformers without a tower keep the height down to the frame itself.
